Isabelle Sieb is an International Emmy-winning and three times BAFTA-nominated film and television director.
Isabelle is known for directing on season 1 of the 2021 BBC One hit drama "Vigil", starring Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie. "Vigil" was the most watched new drama in the UK in three years and won the International Emmy for Drama Series in 2022. The show was also nominated for a BAFTA in the Drama Series category in 2022. Isabelle was nominated in the Director Fiction category at the 2022 BAFTA Scotland Awards for her work on "Vigil".
Isabelle directed 2 episodes of season 1 of the Amazon Prime series "The Devil's Hour", starring Peter Capaldi and Jessica Raine, which launched on Halloween 2022 to rave reviews. The series was picked up for two more seasons off the back of its success.
Isabelle is directing the 3 final episodes of the Disney+ epic fantasy series "Nautilus", which will launch in 2023.
For her television debut, Isabelle was the lead director on the 26-episode drama "The Athena" for Sky in the UK and Amazon Prime in the US, with "Charlie's Angels" star Ella Balinska in the lead. Isabelle directed the pilot as well as episodes 2-6. The show was nominated for "Best Drama" at the BAFTA Children's Awards 2019, as well as "Best Children's Programme" at the Royal Television Society Awards 2020.
Isabelle is a dual national of the UK and Germany and is fluent in both languages.
