I love me a fan film just as much as I hate the Dmca notices that keep me from watching them. Today I saw a trailer on Cbr for a project that definitely deserves some funding and to be seen by all Batman fans. "Batman: Death Of A City" follows Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock as they encounter one of the worst nights in the underbelly of Gotham. What the film lacks in Batman, it makes up for in rogues Phantasm, Bane, and the New 52 iteration of Joker. It also looks to be a much more graphic adventure than you're used too.
Don't let the label of "fan film" dissuade you...this is some high quality.
The project is still in development and needs our help. As it stands they are not nearly close to their $30k Kickstarter goal. That seems like a lot for a fan film, but the filmmakers justify it well.
