Monica has been part of the performing arts industry for 30 years. She trained at Trinity College London, Expressive and Performing Arts UNSW, Dalhousie University Nova Scotia, Canada. She has had many screen appearances including roles in Deadly Women, Small Claims, Home and Away, Pizza, CNNNN and Rake. Most recently in 2021 Monica appears in the feature film, Evicted and plays a lead role in the feature film No Harm Done as well as roles in the short films, Last Request and Morphed. Monica has extensive theatre experience, appearing in numerous productions across many well-known Sydney theatre venues. She was a co-founder of The Living Room Theatre and co-founder and Artistic Director of See-Saw Theatre company where she produced and performed in several productions at Darlinghurst Theatre. Monica has been the face of several television campaigns, including the award winning commercial campaign for ALDI in 2016 and both national and international campaigns for KFC, Westpac, Westfield, Energy Australia, Real Insurance, NRMA, Budget Eyewear, B&D Roller Door, AMP, NSW Nurses and Midwives and most recently the Australian Government National Online Safety Awareness campaign and Health Services Union. Monica also works as a corporate role player and acting coach and is the Owner/Director of The Speech and Drama Studio which she runs at one of Sydney's prestigious private girls' schools where she has taught for 25 years. Monica has written, directed and produced over 40 youth theatre productions.
