The CW has ordered ten episodes of “Crime Nation,” an anthology series focused on true-crime and justice. Set to debut in early 2024, “Crime Nation” will delve into real-life mysteries, cold cases and investigations.

Each two-hour episode will include new details and exclusive interviews from ripped-from-the-headlines stories, including the Delphi murders, the Lori Vallow Daybell case, the Gabby Petito murder and the Gilgo Beach murders.

The CW is officially moving into true-crime.

The broadcaster has ordered Crime Nation, a 10-part series, from former ABC News president James Goldston.

It comes after Deadline revealed that the Nexstar-owned network was developing its own true-crime strand in the vein of NBC’s Dateline, CBS’ 48 Hours and ABC’s 20/20.

The series, which will premiere in 2024, will follow mysteries, cold cases and investigations. Each episode will be two hours long and will feature ripped-from-the-headlines stories and interviews.

A new book discussing how masculinity is represented in Bollywood has been published. The book, entitled Popular Masculine Cultures in India: Critical Essays, has been edited by Rohit K Dasgupta, associate lecturer and doctoral student at University of the Arts London, and Digital Spy's own Steven Baker, a UK academic and journalist based in India. Describing the key themes of the volume, Baker said: "Bollywood is the dominant popular culture in India and the way masculinity is depicted in Hindi films is quite different to how it is presented in the West. "The Bollywood hero breaking into song and dance, shedding tears, and being so closely attached to his mother, are signs of masculinity synonymous with Indian cinema."
