Shaene Siders was nominated as a 2020 Humanitas Prize finalist. She is an award-winning science fiction, fantasy, and action writer who geeks out over swords, sorcery, and superheroes. Never read her scripts without a helmet! Shaene is Head Writer and Executive Producer for Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures, which she also co-developed. She claims it has more explosions than you might think. Her television credits include Invincible Fight Girl, Marvel's Avengers Assemble, DC Super Hero Girls, the Emmy Award winning Amazon Studios series Niko and the Sword of Light, LEGO Monkie Kid, Netflix's Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, and The Octonauts. She has also written for Universal Studios, The Discovery Channel, and even NASA. Besides writing for television, Shaene has been optioned and hired to write for many different media, including feature films, comics, Webisodes, magazines, video games, and role playing games.
