Matthew Murphy(XXI)

Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, Matthew fell in love with acting in high school, where he performed in multiple plays and musicals. In 2008 during his freshman year at Crossroads College in Rochester Minnesota he play the lead, Jesus Christ. in the musical Godspell. Thereafter he branched out to singing, performing in local bars, for weddings, and other ceremonies. Also, during the summer he taught a drama class at a local summer camp for a few seasons.

Around 2010 after helping a friend out with a project for a film competition, Matthew started taking a serious interest in the camera, and started picking up roles in different projects around the twin cities. while working as a security guard to pay the bills, Matthew discovered Actors Models and Talent for Christ, where he received training for successful growth in the film industry. He attended AMCT's Shine conference summer 2016, and performed for industry professionals from around the country.

After the Shine conference Matthew gained some momentum with projects in the Twin Cities four about a year, before he felt the call of another duty. In 2017 Matthew enlisted in the United States Navy.
