Geoff Whitman is an American actor, photographer, writer and businessman from New York.
A 25 year veteran in the wine industry, Geoff began his professional career in Santa Barbara where he learned how to make wine. Simultaneously beginning a second career as a photographer, Geoff fed his creative soul by acting in independent films he wrote and produced with friends and by working in smaller roles in larger projects. Studying acting with Eric & Nora Stone, Geoff began seeking out character driven projects and screenwriting several projects either as lead or co-writer.
In 2016, Geoff got to play opposite Josh Duhamel in the title role of Bill "Spaceman" Lee the former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expos. Ironically, Geoff and Bill are very close friends and wine business partners on their Spaceman Red project. In the film "Spaceman", Whitman plays a RCMP officer who stops Duhamel's Lee at the Canadian border and confiscates his stash.
Whitman is an accomplished rock & roll and street photographer who produces fine art prints from his studio in Napa, California. In 2022, there will be a showing of his work in San Francisco details are still TBD.
When not photographing live shows or working on film projects, Geoff can be found enjoying his family which is his #1 passion.
