Experienced director, writer, producer and editor. Originally from Mexico City where he was born and raised.
Antonio has worked as a television Director and Producer with one of Mexico's largest entertainment properties MVS Exa TV and in marketing and advertising. In 2009 he founded Carta Entretenimiento, an event production company. He has been involved in an interesting diversity of projects, including feature films, short films, advertising, music videos, spec spots and TV. Two of his last films have had their World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival; Killer Tango (2014) in 2014 and Bloody Luck (2015).
In 2005 he received his Bachelor's degree in Science of Communication from the prestigious Universidad Anahuac del Sur in Mexico City where he met his screenwriting mentor Guillermo Arriaga with whom he still has a great friendship. In 2003 he received an Associate's degree from Spanish Radio TV - RTVE in Screenwriting and as a Television Anchorman. He possesses a Master's degree from the New York Film Academy as a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking.
Teaching is one of his passions and due to this passion he served as a college professor at the Universidad UDEC in Mexico City before moving to Los Angeles where he lives and works.
Antonio loves the diversity of his work, a reason why he has trained himself in different areas and has worked as well as a stunt coordinator/performer, production designer, cinematographer, sound mixer, and model photographer.
