Debbie Ethell

Debbie Ethell is the Executive Director for The KOTA Foundation for Elephants (kotafoundation.org). She is a conservation research scientist and went back to school after a brief stint in acting to follow her dream of working with elephants in the wild. Ms. Ethell travels regularly back and forth to Kenya, speaks across the US and Europe and works to educate people about the magic of elephants. Her first book "The Will of Heaven: An Inspiring True Story About Elephants, Alcoholism, and Hope" (published by Alberta Pearl Publishing) has gotten positive reviews and continues to further her mission by introducing people to the very same elephants she met when she was eight years old.
