Grew up in a suburb called Laval in Chomedey, Quebec.
Accepted into American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, but he found New York to be a difficult city to break into, so he moved back to Canada.
His mother is Greek, from Methoni, and his father is Greek Orthodox Syrian.
