Lonny Ray is an award winning singer/songwriter from the Great State of Michigan. Growing up in a middle class family, Lonny Ray spent hours on the family piano before picking up the guitar at age 14. His prolific songwriting has been honed over the years from his life experiences living in the Big 3 automobile blue collar town.
His creations have landed on the Showtime Series Dexter as well as We Tv's Texas Multi Mamas, A&E Combat Pawn, NFL Networks Mean Joe Greene Story, CBS NCIS, Peacock's Killing It, Hallmark Channels When Calls The Heart, as well as many more.
The Movies and Big screen found Lonny's creation with the Hallmark movie Appetite For Love as well as the Jim Wilson movie 50 to 1 starring William Duvane, Christian Kane and Skeet Ulrich in 2014
He has been Nominated several times for the Detroit Music Awards for best country songwriter and won the 25th anniversary of Review Magazine for his writing skills.
In 2018, Lonny Ray was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Rising Star by Nashville Universe Awards and inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame.
