Ira Jersey

Ira Jersey is a fixed income strategist. His work focuses on US government debt and derivatives related to
those markets. An economist by training, he frequently appears in the financial
media including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business, and Bloomberg
Radio. Ira also has appeared on the CBS Evening News, the PBS News
Hour, and the PBS Business Report. He is regularly quoted by the Wall
Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Reuters and other news services.
A longtime fan of fantasy novels and films, Ira began attending weekend live action role playing (LARP) events with Mystic Realms in southern New Jersey while a financial professional. After years of playing the part of a master Ranger in the LARP, Ira finally made the jump to film by becoming an Executive Producer of the Ron Newcomb/Opening Act Production film "The Rangers" which began production in the summer of 2014.
Ira hopes to both produce and act in what he hopes will become a series of independent films by Newcomb and Opening Act Productions based on "The Rangers" franchise.
