Ruben Gutierrez(VI)

Rubén Gutiérrez. visual artist, and filmmaker. Born in Monterrey, Mexico. His work is represented in many private and public collections in Mexico. Since 1993 has shown his work as visual artist in Mexico and abroad. Has participated in artist in residence programs in many countries. In 2006 he obtained the grant for emerging artists of CIFO Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, Miami, USA. He is a fellowship holder of FONCA, National Fund for Art and Culture (Mexico). He has represented Mexico in several art biennials around the world. Since 2013 he has been dedicated to making films.
