Taron Aaron Glascoe (born Tyron Aaron Glascoe on February 27th, 1991 in the New York City neighborhood Jamaica within the borough of Queens) is a singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter. He also has professional credits under the stage name Ty Glascoe. At the young age of five years old, Glascoe and his family relocated to West Hempstead (a hamlet within the Town of Hempstead, on Long Island, in New York) where he studied the arts at a variety of schools and participated in numerous performing arts programs including the BOCES Long Island High School of the Arts, Gloria Eve Performing Arts Foundation, Perfecting Faith Church, Berklee College of Music, and Broadway Dance Center. In 2009, Glascoe received a Merit Award from the YoungArts Foundation for Pop Vocal Performance. Through out his professional career, Glascoe has performed globally in a variety of stage productions, released original music, and has been credited in a variety of on screen productions as well.
