Natasha is a Canadian Screen Award winning actress, best known for having played the titular role in the digital phenomenon Carmilla (2014). Since gaining notoriety for her portrayal of the "broody lesbian vampire" in 2014, she has had numerous roles in features and series including guest starring spots on shows such as Slasher (2016) and Murdoch Mysteries (2008). In 2018, she made her American big screen debut in a leading role in the female-driven comedy Freelancers Anonymous (2018), which was one of the first 12 movies to receive the "ReFrame Stamp" by IMDb Pro and the Sundance Institute for gender equality both in front of, and behind, the camera. In addition to acting, Natasha has a background as a classically trained singer as a former Bachelor of Music student at McGill University, and experience as a YouTube presenter as the former face of KindaTV. She has also performed improv and sketch comedy in New York and Montréal, and in 2017 she co-created, co-wrote, and co-produced the NYC Web Fest award-winning comedy series ClaireVoyant (2018), alongside friend and colleague Annie Briggs, for Shaftesbury Digital. Thanks to her dynamic work, Natasha also has a large and dedicated global following on social media where she is admired for her sense of humor and candid posts about mental health awareness and positive LGBTQ representation. But when she isn't inspiring others, or wearing many hats (sometimes literally) she loves travelling for public speaking engagements, meeting fans at conventions, and hanging out with her adopted rescue dog in her hometown Toronto where she is still based.
