An award-winning filmmaker with more than thirty years of experience, Tim Williams has written, directed, and produced hundreds of TV commercials, corporate films, and documentaries for Fortune 500 companies around the world. He has written, directed, and produced three feature documentaries: Band of Champions starring Super Bowl champion, Matthew Stafford, "Protect the Family," and The Colonel's Playbook, about the life and career of Lt.Colonel R. "C." (Rocky) Rosacker.
Early in his career, Williams landed acting roles in Santa Barbara, Police Academy 2, and numerous film and TV shows while attending film school classes at USC Cinema-TV, and writing multiple screenplays. In 1988, he was a set dresser on Oliver Stone's BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. In 1989, he began producing, writing, and directing commercials and short films. In 2009 and 2010, he wrote, produced, and directed a series of Tostitos commercials in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Williams' short film, "The Colonel" won best narrative short and best trailer at the 2017 GI Film Festival in Washington D.C. Tim excelled in football and track at Colorado State University. He earned his B.A. in Journalism and theater from the University of Arizona. Williams and his wife have four children.
