Believe it or not, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is quickly closing in on its release date in the summer of 2019 and a new graphic novel companion, called Godzilla: Aftershock by Arvid Nelson with illustrations by Drew Edward Johnson for Legendary Comics, will kick off Godzilla fever in the spring of 2019. Update: A DC animator has clarified that Bruce Timm will not be writing and directing Justice League: Gods and Monsters.
It was reported that the Batman: The Animated Series creator would be returning to DC Animation for the upcoming feature.
Gods and Monsters will instead be written by Alan Burnett and directed by Sam Liu, according to James Tucker.
He added that the Court of Owls will not feature in Batman vs Robin.
