Diego Pino Anguita

Young Producer and Filmmaker graduated from the University of Chile's Film and Television Degree and graduated in audiovisual communication from the same university. He has participated in several film and production seminars and workshops.
Since 2011 he was the General Coordinator of CCDOC, an organization created to promote the commercialization and promotion of the Chilean documentary in Chile and the world. From here he has been in charge since 2014 of the organization and coordination of official Chilean delegations to important international Documentary Film markets, such as IDFA, Visions du Réel, HOTDOCS, Dok Leipzig, Sheffield Doc Fest, Sunny side of the doc, among others.
Since October 2018, he is the Director of the Chilean non-fiction sector brand CHILEDOC, dedicated to the international promotion and positioning of the Chilean non-fiction sector.
He is the producer and founder of the company Cangrejo Films in charge of different audiovisual works mainly focuses on Cinema. In 2012 he produced "La Visita del Cangrejo", a short film directed by Pelayo Lira, winner of the Audiovisual Development Fund and winner of the best short film at SANFIC 8 and selected at the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival, among others. From this same company, he produces the feature film directed by Pelayo Lira entitled "REINOS" released worldwide at BAFICI 2017, where he wins the award for best individual performance. Also selected at the prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and at various international festivals. With the company, he develops two projects, one of them directed by Jairo Boisier titled "Temporada de Paltas" (Winner of Corfo 2017) this project has been developed in the CinemaFondation from Cannes. It is a co-production with the French company MAT Productions.
He is the director and executive producer of the MAFI Foundation with whom he has developed multiple documentary projects, including the documentary feature film "PROPAGANDA", with general direction by Christopher Murray. This film won the award for the most innovative film in the category at the Visions du Réel international festival in 2014. It was also selected at more than 50 international festivals. Won the Pedro Sienna award for best documentary that same year, the most important prize for Cinema in Chile. Since
the Foundation they have focused on documentary film training projects, mediation to spread non-fiction in Chile and the world, and today the realization of artistic residencies that bring people closer to the documentary language in order to reflect about identity.
In 2019 they released the second collective documentary feature film entitled "GOD" with General Direction by Israel Pimentel, Josefina Buschman and Christopher Murray, winning the Young Jury Prize for the best film in Visions du Réel 2019 and premiered at major festivals such as DokLeipzig and Bergen Film Festival.
With MAFI they work on two documentary feature films in different stages. The first is TOUR documentary project led by Antonio Luco financed by Corfo and National Film Fund, and the second titled PAMPAS MARCIANAS directed by Anibal Jofré and the community of María Elena, financed by the Artistic Residency Program of the Ministry of Cultures. Diego Pino Anguita works producing films and working on the promotion of the Chilean cinema under the idea of: "Working doing Cinema and for the Cinema".
