Music Producer, Douglas Hardin, (professionally known as Nola
Gates), Nola began his music career at the age of 14 by playing bass
for the gospel group, The Imperial Gospel Singers and at 16 he was
playing in the top 40 band, The Black Hole. From the hard work and
sacrifice of his mother, Hardin was able to attend the Krell Music
Institute, a private school in Santa Monica, CA. At Krell, Douglas
learned to play guitar, drums, piano, horns, and acoustic upright
instruments as well as reading and writing music. This exposure helped
hone his skills in music and music production. Douglas Hardin is able
to write, play and produce music in hip-hop, R&B, pop, gospel, jazz,
rock and fusion, just to mention a few.
