Chandra Pant is a prominent Nepali filmmaker and action director based in the United States, renowned for his significant contributions to both Nepali and Bollywood cinema. Beginning his career as a stuntman in 2008, he transitioned to action direction in 2012 with the film Raavan. Pant has since directed action sequences in over 60 films, including notable titles such as Suntali, Lazza, Dreams, and Karkhana.
In 2019, Pant made his directorial debut with the Hindi film Nirahua Chalal London, which achieved significant super success. This film was notable for being the first Bhojpuri movie shot outside India, with scenes filmed in India, Nepal, and England. He continued his first directorial journey with the Nepali film Hrashwo Deergha in 2024, which received critical acclaim and was box successful with 14 crore worldwide box office collection.
