Amber Schaefer(I)
- Director
- Actress
Amber Schaefer is widely known for directing "Saturday Night Live," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Collegehumor," "Netflix digital," and "Funny or Die." She has also written and directed award winning shorts such as the gritty and musically driven "NYC Tips and Tricks" and the laugh out loud Vimeo darling "It's Been Too Long." She is perhaps most famed for her unauthorized viral campaign for Bernie Sanders: "Bernie, The Peoples Perfume." And her "slightly off" comedy ads, directing for notable clients such as Geico, Kayak, and Dos Equis. Amber grew up in Oregon and Vermont, where she attended the Putney School, an alternative boarding school, and would later get a degree in Political Theory from the now defunct Marlboro College. After college she spent ten years in New York City before moving to Los Angeles.
