Patricia Coutino was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She started acting at age 13 at local theatre schools and companies. She was part of the acting program at the CEART and studied design at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (UASLP), she left a year later to fully commit to acting. At 19 she moved to Los Angeles to study at the acclaimed Stella Adler Academy of Acting where she completed the two year acting conservatory.
