Anatoly Sergeev is a producer, director, author, actor, and founder and general manager of the Kinologistika film company.
Since 2003, he has worked in film distribution and production. He is a recipient of the Excellence in Yakut Cinema award, and he has popularized the horror genre throughout the Commonwealth of Independent States, regularly taking part in releasing horror films and other media. He has played an important role in promoting Yakut cinema, participated in the release of a number of local films, and served as director, screenwriter, producer, and editor of the horror double feature Tropa Smerti (Trail of Death). Since 2007, he has worked in film distribution companies in Moscow, including Nashe Kino and Volga. He served as promo producer of Forbidden Empire (starring Jason Flemyng, 30 million dollar budget, 1.3 billion ruble box office in the Russian Federation). He has participated in the Russian release of Ilya and the Robber, Black Hunters, Morphine, Slumdog Millionaire, The Wrestler, A Prophet, Oxygen, Hachi: A Dog's Tale, Biutiful, One Day, Lost in Paris, Loving Vincent, Thawed Carp, How Viktor 'The Garlic' Took Alexey 'The Stud' to the Nursing Home, and many others. In 2013, he founded the Kinologistika film distribution company, which has released more than 200 films. He is author of the book, Ya Ne Kral Tvoye More (I Didn't Steal Your Sea). In 2020, he co-produced the film Velga (based on the classic Russian novel by Ivan Bunin).
