Shari A. Malin

Shari Malin holds a master's degree in English Education and has spent much of her life teaching students the joy of reading and writing. Her love of writing began when she was in elementary school and has carried through her entire adult life. Shari was born February 22, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY. She was adopted by E. Pamela and Stephan Malin in October 1972. The family lived in Sunnyside until August 1974, when they moved to York, PA. The family remained in York for Shari's entire childhood. She attended York City School District elementary schools until 5th grade when her parents moved the family to Red Lion, PA. She finished 5th Grade at Red Lion School District. When her parents divorced later that year, she moved with her mother to Dallastown, PA. She graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1989. Shari holds a BA in Journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a PA teaching certification from Lock Haven University of PA, and a Masters in English Education from University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She moved from North Carolina to Atlanta in June 2015. She has been writing and creating in the Hollywood of the South since then.
