Brooke Linsalata is a Maryland raised award-winning director, screenwriter and actress. She grew up writing her own stories and by the age of ten, started learning the filmmaking process through a film camp. Throughout school, she starred in many theatre productions and was even the co-captain of the improv team. She graduated from Full Sail University in 2019 with a degree in film. Brooke worked on the acclaimed feature film, Fishbowl, as well as Little Big Town's Sugarcoat. She directed her first film in 2013. She's acted in over fifteen short films, one of which she was the lead, winning the CINE Golden Eagle Award. Her films have gone on to be in numerous acclaimed film festivals, such as Austin Revolution Film Festival, which she won Best Editing for A Feature Film for her feature film, Gianna, along with Ocean City Film Festival and Sunscreen Film Festival. To date, she has won three awards for her feature film Gianna: Best Feature Film, Best of the Fest, and Best Editing.
