Shanay De Marco is a film and theatre actor based in Queensland, Australia.
Her first on stage performance was at the 2014 Short+Sweet Festival where she won the award for Best Actor in a Play. She went on to more award winning roles in the 2017 web series, Two Weeks (GFS Masters Most Outstanding Actor Female) and the 2018 short film, Pizza Deliverance (JMC Martini award for Best Female Actor).
Shanay is also a writer and director. She co-created the 2017 web series, Dailies, which she produced, directed, wrote and starred in. In 2022, she produced, wrote and starred in the short film, Scout's Honour, acting opposite AACTA winner, Darren Gilshenan.
Shanay has an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Stage Acting and comes from a dance and musical theatre background.
She is of Italian heritage and has dual citizenship in Australia and Italy.
