Gianluca Conca (7 May 1991) is an Italian filmmaker. He is a graduate of the "Department of Arts, Music and Performing Arts" at Roma Tre University, and the holder of several diplomas in vocal performance, composition and music theory, awarded by national academies.
His dedition to cinema and music is deep rooted and rides along with him since his tender years, where he would almost unconsciously engage his mind in 'filming', 'editing' and 'scoring' movies featured with logos, closing credits and duration time, with imagination and boxes full of Lego being his main craft tools.
Over time, through travels, studies and experiences, he has shaped his career by covering multiple artistic roles as director, screenwriter, music composer and producer, and specializing in particular in editing and post-production, obtaining various prizes and awards in Italy, Europe. and USA.
Starting from his neighborhood and landing overseas, he has made a handful of movies, shorts, series, trailers, music videos and commercials, largely avaling the support of his creative team Convergent Clouds, which he co-founds together with his partner Daniele Barbiero.
He has collaborated with great Italian and international musical artists such as Måneskin, Laura Pausini, Achille Lauro, Blanco, Salmo, Coez, Ghali, Jovanotti, Marco Mengoni, Tommaso Paradiso, Francesco Renga, Biagio Antonacci, Elisa, Emma, Elettra Lamborghini, Ana Mena, Noemi, Gaia, The Kolors, Il Volo, and many others.
He has shared sets and projects with famous actors and celebrities such as Fiorello, Matilda De Angelis, Matilde Gioli, Francesco Montanari, Claudio Santamaria, Ricky Tognazzi, Félix Maritaud.
He works steadily alongside many well-known colleagues in the world of filmmaking, namely the duo YouNuts! and Major production companies like Warner, Universal, Sony and Disney.
Ambitious and dreamer, his artistic and cinematographic language translates, especially through the use of editing, into the construction of courageous narratives, which are combined with the psychology that depicts the human mind, and with the philosophies that pursue the laws of the universe, and that without fear, rules or limits move through time and infinity like 'fragments' of emotions, memories and dreams.
