Joe Brandt, Music Supervisor / Producer / Content Creator, got his start in the music business in the late 90's as a recording engineer and working musician in New York City. Shortly after, Joe became a production assistant working at various indie labels and music production libraries in the Tri-state area eventually becoming CTO at We3Kings, Inc. While at W3K, he handled all aspects of their music library, Internet marketing, music video productions and the auditioning and hiring of composers for various projects under the W3K umbrella.
Now living in Los Angeles, Joe is a Music Supervisor, Producer and Music Metadata Analyst providing Music Clearance, Licensing, Supervision, Music Curation, Production and Content Creation for television, advertisements, and film. As in-house Music Supervisor at Collins Avenue Productions from 2014-2017, he worked closely with executive producers and choreographers producing custom vocal songs for visual dances on such hit shows as Dance Moms and So Sharp, among others.
Joe is producing and directing an up-and-coming indie horror film and a documentary on world-renown band The Upsetters (Little Richard, Sam Cooke, James Brown, Otis Redding).
Joe holds degrees in Computer Programming, Audio Engineering and Communications and is a member of the Guild of Music Supervisors.
