We Dare You to Guess How Big This Olympic Gymnast's Phone Bill Was After Playing Too Much Pokémon Go
This was bound to happen to someone. It was only a matter of time. Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura, who is set to compete at the Olympics in Rio this year, got smacked with a phone bill just under $5,000. Why? Those dreadful roaming charges he acquired while playing Pokémon Go outside of his counties phone plan, Kyodo News notes. He became instantly sucked into the game after landing in Brazil for the games, as one naturally does. The gymnast, of course, was floored by his bill.
