Writer, Director, Producer, Cinematographer Kurtis Anton was born in San Diego, CA. in 1961 to Father Richard Anton, a German immigrant arriving to Ellis Island in 1947, and mother Paulette Kitzmann, of Lansing Michigan. He has two siblings, sisters Denise Renee and Richelle Monique and two children, Ambrielle Angelina born 2007, and Timothy Rustam born 2002. Kurtis' father Richard Anton, born 1939 Darmstadt, Germany, was the founding drummer of the 60's troupe the Polka Pals, and a dear friend of the great Luciano Pavarotti.
Martin Milner (Adam 12, Route 66) was Kurtis' first manager in 1981 when Kurtis along with Wally Passet, Jonny Coffin, and Andy Milner started the So Cal 1980's Surf Metal rock band, Snakebyte, releasing their first vinyl EP in 1985. FNA Records Re Mastered the Snakebyte works of the 80's, releasing a 16 track CD worldwide in 2012.
To this day Kurtis drums regularly with numerous musicians in the Christian music space.

In October, 2013 Kurtis founded Snakebyte Productions and Entertainment Group, LLC, (DBA Snakebyte Productions) a legal California corporation.
From 2015 to date, Snakebyte Productions has been a eight time recipient of the prestigious "LA Best In Business Award", as selected by its business peers and local chambers. in 2021 Kurtis and Snakebyte Productions were awarded Best New International Film Production Studio by LUX Magazine.
Snakebyte Productions and Entertainment Group, LLC, (DBA Snakebyte Productions), has expanded into a fully integrated, broad-based, multi state compliant, internationally renown, motion picture production company, raising the bar in full service, one stop shop operations in the creation, development and production of large format, ultra-high definition, video production space. They produce all forms of cinematic motion picture and video production size and genre, leading the way among their peers.
Snakebyte Productions Studios in Oceanside, CA has become home to the preeminent production service provider and has grown quickly by its business model, to outpace its competition as the go-to, affordable and amenable producer of Feature Length Motion Pictures and All Format Short Form Content. They have become a nationally recognized, reputable, domestic and internationally versatile, feature film production company.

In March 2017, Kurtis Anton and Snakebyte Productions launched Snakebyte subsidiaries Slategate Cinema, LLC and Ediza Lake Pictures, LLC as Snakebyte's film slate finance vehicle and film holdings companies, owned and managed by Snakebyte.
Kurtis' first full length fiction novel adapted from his award wining screenplay, What Child Is This will be released in October 2022 under Simon and Schuster's subsidiary publishing house, Archway Publishing
