A devoted fan of director Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon" (1950) as a teen, Enriquez auditioned for a community college stage production at age 16, landing the role of the disillusioned Buddhist priest. After a semi-professional ballet career, he joined the Army National Guard, eventually appearing in the 2010 and 2015 United States Army Soldier Show world tours. The show had roots in World War I, and famous alumni such as Irving Berlin and Ronald Reagan in the film version "This is the Army" (1943).
As his feature film directorial debut, he co-wrote, acted in, directed, and edited the no-budget mystery thriller Canvas the Night (2013), an adaptation of Eric Sharp's popular dinner theater script. Subsequent writing and directing projects have been screened at film festivals and received awards.
Residing in Washington, D.C., Enriquez is active in film, theater, and ballet productions in the National Capitol Region.
