Jesse Ray Sheps was born in New York, July 7th 2005. The young actor began his career in the modeling and commercial worlds for companies such as AT&T, H&M, Mott's AppleSauce, Humira, Nickelodeon, NBC, Sherwin Williams, Toys R Us, Family Dollar, and AMF Bowling (current).
For Nickelodeon's hit television show Zack and Quack, Jesse took on the role of series regular Fluffy. Jesse went on to act in films such as "Collateral Beauty" with Kate Winslet, and "Hard Sell" with Kristen Chenoweth. Jesse also played the lead role of young David Guttierrez in the movie Such a Funny Life. Jesse Ray's work includes features in various roles for Disney and Amazon.
Jesse then filmed a guest-star role on CBS' Blue Bloods, and co-starred in other roles; CBS' drama "Bull" and Netflix's hit series Orange is the New Black.
In his released movie "All Square," Jesse starred opposite Emmy nominated actors Michael Kelly (House of Cards) and Pamela Adlon (Better Things). All Square was the winner of the best narrative film award at SXSW scoring an amazing 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Jesse received great critical reviews for his starring role performance in All Square, including his win for Best Supporting Actor from the Vegas Movie Awards.
Jesse won Best Comedy Short at the American Youth Film Festival and the Art Slope Film Festival for his short film, of which he wrote, directed, and performed in (playing 6 different characters).
Jesse is the Founder and President of the Fire Island Film Festival, an International nonprofit Film Festival dedicated to helping the filmmaking community.
Jesse is currently a student at Yale University and has previously studied at the Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors.
