Sony and Amazon/MGM's Spider-Noir series appears to be taking some major liberties with the source material, but given how obscure this Variant of the web-slinger is, does it really matter if "Ben Reilly" is beneath the mask instead of Peter Parker?
That's debatable; regardless, Sony appears to be ignoring the fact Ben is Peter's clone and we don't anticipate that being addressed in any way when Spider-Noir swings on to streaming next year.
Today, we have some new photos from the TV show's set (via Just Jared) showcasing Nicolas Cage's private eye. We've already seen that the series will feature a comic-accurate superhero costume and Cage unquestionably looks the part of "Ben" in these snaps.
Earlier this year, Cage opened up on what led to him reprising a role he first played in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

We’ve seen tons of high-profile games released this year that missed the mark, but Marvel Rivals looks to be heading in the right direction. Marvel Rivals is quickly approaching its release, and developer NetEease has confirmed another playable character for the game, Moon Knight. Marvel Studios officially unveiled its full slate of series on Disney+ for 2025 in a new sizzle reel released on Wednesday, including first looks at live-action series “Daredevil: Born Again,” “Ironheart” and “Wonder Man,” and animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” “Eyes of Wakanda” and “Marvel Zombies.”
“Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” will start things off on Jan. 29; the animated series will bring some new characters to the story of Peter Parker’s first year as the web-slinger, including Nico Minoru (from the Runaways team) and Amadeus Cho (who is a new Hulk in the comics).
Marvel previously announced that “Daredevil: Born Again” will debut on March 4, but the teaser finally provides the first robust look at the show, which will continue the events from the “Daredevil” series that ran on Netflix for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. Given that it's being developed by Sony, there's been some concern among fans that Amazon's Spider-Noir series starring Nicolas Cage might not see the title character actually suit up.
Peter Parker has already been replaced by Ben Reilly as Spider-Man Noir, but newly revealed photos and footage from the show's set confirm we're getting a comic-accurate take on the wall-crawling private detective.
The hero looks like he's stepped straight off the page with a design that's also pretty much identical to what we saw in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Based on how this scene is playing out, Ben will see a fair bit of action as he rides atop a car while shooting webs into the distance. He also has his trademark hat and goggles, though we should point out that it's a stuntman in the suit, not Cage.
Cage will be joined in the series by Lamorne Morris (as...

Daredevil: Born Again has a release date, so here’s when fans can see the Man Without Fear hit Disney+!
Created in 1963, Daredevil has been one of Marvel’s best-ever characters. For newbies, when he was a young child, Matt Murdock was accidentally doused with radioactive chemicals that blinded him. However, it also gave Matt super-enhanced senses as well as a “radar sense” to be able to “see” around him.
When his boxer father refused to take a dive and was murdered by mobsters, Matt wanted justice. After becoming a lawyer, Matt took on the identity of Daredevil to fight various criminals. The character hit a high point in the early 1980s under writer/artist Frank Miller, who made him darker and tougher while introducing his major foe of mob boss, the Kingpin and femme fatale Elektra.

Marvel Studios just wrapped up a surprise Daredevil: Born Again panel at New York Comic Con and the trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ TV series has leaked online.
The sneak peek includes several of the Man Without Fear's new cowls and clashes with The Punisher, Muse, and The Kingpin. We also catch sight of Bullseye, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson (it's widely believed they were added to the series following the widely publicised creative overhaul).
There's also an intriguing, predictably tense, exchange between Matt Murdock and New York City's future Mayor, Wilson Fisk:
Fisk: Sometimes, peace needs to be broken. Chaos must reign.
Murdock: It does seem like we really do understand each other, so if you step out of line, I am gonna be there.
Fisk: This caution that you’re giving me. Who’s it from? Matt Murdock or your darker half?
The visuals here...

What Do We Know About the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series Daredevil: Born Again? More in recent weeks than ever before. The sequel to the Netflix street-level superhero series has been one of the most anticipated MCU projects since it was announced. With Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox already having appeared in Hawkeye, Echo, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have a tease of what they can expect from this new dive into Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. So, let’s dive in and take a look at what we know about Daredevil: Born Again.

The initial version of Daredevil: Born Again was a complete disaster. It focused primarily on courtroom drama, featuring very little action from Daredevil. This approach received negative feedback, prompting Marvel to make major changes in how it developed the series.
In late September 2023, after filming six of the 18 episodes, Marvel Studios decided to shift the show’s direction.
The original head writers, Corman and Ord, along with the other directors, were let go after executives reviewed the footage and concluded that the series “wasn’t working.”
Their approach differed significantly from the Netflix version, causing Charlie Cox to not appear as Daredevil until the fourth episode. Marvel intended to retain some of the filmed scenes while incorporating new elements and aligning more closely with the tone of the original Netflix series.
Despite the changes, Corman and Ord were still expected to receive credit as executive producers. In October of last year,...

A number of people involved with bringing Daredevil: Born Again to the screen have promised that the upcoming Disney+ series will be every bit as dark and violent - if not more so - than the now defunct Netflix show, and Marvel Studios Head of Streaming, Television and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, reiterated just how gritty the Man Without Fear's long-awaited return is going to be during a previously unreleased D23 interview.
During an appearance on ABC's On The Red Carpet Storytellers Spotlight stage, Winderbaum shared updates on several small-screen projects, and compared Born Again to HBO's notoriously brutal Game of Thrones.
"Imagine if New York City was as intricate and problematic and scary as the world of Game of Thrones," he teased. "All these forces vying for control, and it can be really hopeful at times, and really violent at times, and dark-but also there's light at the end of...

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 begins production in a few weeks but we won't get to watch that first batch of episodes until next March.
The Disney+ series promises to take a deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU, something we'd once hoped was also the plan for Spider-Man 4.
Now, The Cosmic Circus brings a few rumoured updates on the show and the Man Without Fear's fellow Defenders. As expected, Mayor Wilson Fisk will indeed be hunting down vigilantes, with Echo and Blindspot once on his list. How much has changed since the creative overhaul remains unclear, though we might have to wait for the latter's MCU debut.
The site has also heard rumblings about Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing returning. They later note that, when we next see Finn Jones' Danny Rand, he'll likely be the next Iron Fist's master rather than the hero who...

We've been hearing whispers of a Silver Surfer project for quite a while at this stage, and it seems Marvel Studios is still planning to give the space-faring hero the spotlight in his (or her?) own solo outing down the line.

While Marvel Television (the original Jeph Loeb-led iteration) was in charge of Netflix's Daredevil, MCU concept artist Ryan Meinerding was enlisted to design the Man Without Fear's costume.
It didn't feature the iconic "Dd" logo and neither has any iteration of the suit since. In fact, it was still missing when Matt Murdock made his MCU debut in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and, based on Daredevil: Born Again set photos, it won't feature there either.
Perhaps the thought process is that a blind superhero wouldn't need or want to put a logo on his chest. Still, fans remain eager to see it on screen.

An Interesting New Daredevil: Born Again Rumor Reveals Matt And The Kingpin's Surprising New Dynamic
Daredevil: Born Again underwent a creative overhaul midway through production, resulting in sweeping changes to both the story and creative team.
We believe original plans called for Foggy Nelson to die, prompting Matt Murdock to give up being the Man Without Fear (resulting in the lawyer not suiting up for at least four or five episodes of the nine-episode series). In place of a random gunman, we now have Bullseye and set photos have confirmed Karen Page has also been added to the scene.
Some footage from the original shoot will remain and it appears Foggy is still set to take a bullet. However, according to a new rumour shared on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, there's going to be a unique twist.
While we're not putting too much stock in this, it's said that Matt is forced to work for Wilson Fisk's Mayoral campaign after turning to the Kingpin to help keep Foggy alive.

Jon Bernthal ducked out of "The Walking Dead" at the right time (the end of season 2). He stayed on long enough to prove his talent without winding up tied down to the show. Of the series' original main cast, Bernthal has also had easily the most prolific film and television career since.
One of his most popular roles was in another comic book-based television series: Frank Castle/The Punisher on "Daredevil," and then a two season "Punisher" spin-off. Bernthal's Punisher is easily the highlight of "Daredevil" season 2; the season suffers whenever it pivoted to the less compelling Elektra/Hand storyline (Elodie Yung never steals a scene like Bernthal does). Even with the controversies surrounding the Punisher character, Marvel Studios has chosen to bring Bernthal back for revival series "Daredevil: Born Again." Welcome back, Frank!
In a funny coincidence, Bernthal is not the only "Walking Dead" alum to have played the Punisher.

In an unexpected twist of fate, a largely forgotten Marvel anime from 2014, has recently resurfaced on YouTube, becoming the talk of Marvel and anime fans alike. This decade-old anime film, titled, Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher, produced by Madhouse, was initially overlooked by mainstream audiences. However, thanks to YouTube’s mysterious algorithm, it’s now finding a new audience and receiving a second wind of attention.

But why has this anime suddenly resurfaced? There are several theories explaining this, from algorithmic coincidences to deliberate marketing strategies by Marvel and YouTube. This anime’s resurrection feels almost too appropriate given the current wave of interest in Marvel’s film world.

As a sort of turning point, the much-awaited Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the future of MCU television. Why? This is because, despite the fact that Daredevil and the other characters grouped under the original Marvel TV banner were only recently introduced into the MCU, the fact that Marvel is now able to access a larger cast of characters than it has in the past creates a lot of exciting opportunities.
Even while we already know a lot about the show and its characters at this point, there are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding the upcoming season, especially in light of the fact that this – supposedly darker – season is going to influence the titular hero going forward.
Things have changed, and Matt is going to be under a lot of pressure, with his opponents becoming more powerful than ever. How will that influence his psyche?...

Deadline brings word that Amazon's Spider-Noir has cast Boardwalk Empire star Jack Huston in a mysterious "bodyguard" role. No further details have been shared, though he could be playing anyone from an unnamed heavy to a new take on villains like Hammerhead and Tombstone.
He now joins a cast which will be led by Nicolas Cage (who is supposedly playing Ben Reilly in place of Peter Parker), Brendan Gleeson, Lamorne Morris, Abraham Popoola, and Li Jun Li.
HBO's Boardwalk Empire put Huston on the map, though the ill-fated Ben-Hur derailed his attempt to become a Hollywood leading man. The closest he's come to starring in a comic book project is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. His other credits include The Irishman, House of Gucci, and Fargo.
Spider-Noir will premiere on the MGM+ linear channel in the U.S. and globally on Prime Video.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects. Matt Murdock has appeared in the MCU several times already, but with the release of his own standalone show, his bringing a lot of other characters from Netflix’s ‘Defenders’ Saga.
‘Born Again’ had sort of a rocky production. The show was initially imagined as a soft reboot of Netflix’s show, and the approach was widely different. A lot of notable characters weren’t featured at all, or they were recast.
After execs reviewed the shot material, they decided to reboot the reboot, additional scenes for the show had to be filmed and the show completely changed direction. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ became the continuation of Netflix’s show, and much of the old cast returned.
Initial plans for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ did not feature Karen or Foggy, and Charlie Cox extensively talked about it. Some insider reports claimed...

The MCU has a lot of upcoming movies and Disney+ shows in the works, and there have been recent updates about the new ‘Vision’ series, which will center on White Vision.
James Spader is confirmed to reprise his role as Ultron, and Scarlet Witch might make an appearance as well. While ‘Vision’ is already part of the ‘WandaVision’ trilogy alongside ‘Agatha All Along,’ it looks like it could also be introducing new characters and fresh storylines.
The show takes place after the events of ‘WandaVision,’ following White Vision’s escape from Westview. While it’s unclear how Ultron will fit into the story, we do know that the plot will revolve around White Vision searching for meaning in his existence.
During this journey, a new character, played by Todd Stashwick, will be introduced. The ‘Picard’ actor is reportedly cast as a human assassin who is on the hunt for White...

Daredevil: Born Again was among the MCU titles showcased at D23 earlier this month and, much to the delight of Marvel fans who didn't make the trip to Anaheim, it quickly leaked online.
Believe it or not, it still hasn't been pulled - as you can see here - but a much better-quality version has surfaced on social media in the past couple of days. While not quite the same as an official release, part of the screen is no longer cut off and the overall picture and sound quality is much-improved.
As a result, we get a much better look at everything from the Man Without Fear's five cowls to his clashes with The Punisher, Muse, The Kingpin, and more. Also below is a clip from an even higher-quality version of the Daredevil: Born Again trailer which, unfortunately, has yet to be leaked in its entirety! We'll be sure...

In the build-up to Deadpool and Wolverine's release, numerous character cameo rumors did the rounds, and one name that popped up quite a lot was our second big-screen take on Frank Castle, Thomas Jane.
The actor, who only made a single appearance as the ultra-violent vigilante in 2004's The Punisher, was rumored to reprise his role along with the likes of Wesley Snipes (Blade), Jennifer Garner (Elektra), and Dafne Keen (X-23), but Jane has now confirmed that he was never contacted about a potential return during an interview with The Direct.
Jane also shared his thoughts on Jon Bernthal's current incarnation of Frank Castle, who he feels is a better fit for the character.
"I like [Jon] Bernthal's Punisher. I think, you know, for me, it was always a little bit of a stretch. Frank Castle is supposed to be an Italian American. I'm not. I'm an Irish American.

When Daredevil: Born Again finally arrives on Disney+ next March, we're expecting a long overdue deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU.
We know the Man Without Fear will cross paths with the likes of White Tiger and The Punisher, while various online scoopers have claimed the plan for Spider-Man 4 is for Peter Parker and Daredevil to do battle with The Kingpin.
If that happens, then we'd imagine the idea is to bring Wilson Fisk's story to a definitive close when he's defeated by his two greatest foes.
Lead star Charlie Cox recently teased plans for cameos in Daredevil: Born Again and Daniel Richtman has now "confirmed" rumours that Jacques "Jack" Duquesne (Tony Dalton) will appear in the series. Is he finally going to suit up as Swordsman? That remains to be seen.
The scooper also claims that there were once plans for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms.

Daredevil: Born Again will finally deliver a deep dive into the street-level corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Hawkeye gave us a glimpse into that, of course, but it's in this series that we'll see vigilantes in action.
The Punisher and White Tiger are both confirmed to appear and lead star Charlie Cox commented on the latter character's role during a recent appearance at Fan Expo Chicago.
"I mean, we don't follow any of the comic books in terms of story," he told fans (via Screen Rant). "We don't follow any of them closely, and there's a number of reasons for that. One, because if you follow a storyline closely, it becomes a foregone conclusion because everyone knows how it ends."
"Those of you who saw the leaked trailer from D23 may have noticed a couple of interesting characters come up - I didn't say it, you said it.

Daredevil was a raging success at Netflix, and as one of the pioneers of Marvel television, it opened the doors for other superhero characters to have their own stories told on the small screen. Even the iconic The Defenders series looked like Daredevil 2.0.

Good thing Marvel Studios found a way to revive Charlie Cox’s show and bring it to the MCU. The project will now move forward with the original cast back in the game but with a new story and mission that will test the tenacity of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Charlie Cox Remains Grateful To Netflix For Original Daredevil Series
It’s still a long way to go before the release of Daredevil: Born Again but the hype around it remains sky-high. The fans expect nothing but the best from it following the announcement of a creative overhaul.

Some Marvel characters have led the cinematic universe into becoming one of the most lucrative franchises in the history of Hollywood, such as Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. Other heroes are usually suited for solo ventures or the small screen, catering to a narrower audience that craves something a little more specific.

The Punisher is one such character, receiving two unrelated solo films before getting rebooted a third time in the MCU with Netlfix’s Daredevil. While The Punisher has not shied away from violence in any of his live-action depictions, Ray Stevenson was keenly aware of how he wanted to portray his version of the character in a film, in a story that was otherwise concerned with a lot of gratuitous violence.

Daredevil: Born Again Star Charlie Cox Reveals When He First Heard From Kevin Feige About MCU Return
With such a clear divide between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television, most fans never expected Netflix's street-level characters to appear in the MCU.
That changing looked a little more likely when Disney shuttered Marvel Television, but even then it was hard to imagine Kevin Feige and company being willing to pick up where several seasons of programming on Netflix left The Defenders.
However, in 2021, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin returned in Hawkeye and, mere weeks later, we saw Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home Home.
The former's newfound strength suggested Marvel Studios was making some changes to the characters, and while the Netflix shows have since been made "canon" to Earth-616, we still don't expect future projects like Daredevil: Born Again to adhere too closely to what's come before.
Talking to People, Cox revealed when he first heard from Feige about suiting up again.

Charlie Cox is without question the definitive version of Daredevil. Ben Affleck may have played the character in the underrated 2003 movie, but Cox's performance in the 2015 Netflix series really presented The Man Without Fear as a main event level player in the Marvel live-action field. So when the character was eventually introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was no question about who should play him.
Years after the Netflix show's premature cancellation, Cox joined the MCU in multiple cameo appearances; the most significant being a guest spot in an episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. But it's all building towards a more long-term return, as the actor will reprise the role full-time in Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again.

Next year, both Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) and Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) will return in Daredevil: Born Again, a rebooted take on Netflix's Daredevil show ensconsed firmly within the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This comes after both Daredevil and Kingpin have made numerous cameo appearances in the franchise, following the cancellation of the original Daredevil show in 2018.
Charlie Cox began his journey as Matt Murdock back in 2015. Originally a Netflix series, Daredevil quickly became one of the jewels of superhero television. It spawned an entire franchise, known as the 'Defenders Saga', introducing characters like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and Iron Fist. In 2022, the Defenders Saga switched from Netflix to Disney+'s streaming library. And around the same time, Charlie Cox was making MCU appearances, most notably in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Speaking to People, Cox explained the timeline of how Daredevil made its way to the MCU.

The latest Marvel blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine, has become one of the highest grossing R-rated movies of all time, surpassing $1 billion at the box office. The movie serves as a finale to the long-running X-Men franchise, which was originally started in 2000 at 20th Century Fox. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine team up for one last ride to save the multiverse.
In the film, multiple actors who portrayed Marvel characters pre-mcu returned to play their iconic roles, presumably for the last time. Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Wesley Snipes’ Blade, Dafne Keen’s X-23, and Chris Evans’ Human Torch all made appearances.
Unfortunately, some fans felt let down. Most likely, due to budgetary reasons, they could only have a certain number of Marvel alumni in the film. From his violent gigs in The Walking Dead and Netflix’s The Punisher, which pushed him to stardom, to his life outside of showbiz, violence has been a notable aspect of Jon Bernthal’s career and life.

Charlie Cox revealed to People magazine that he was first contacted by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about a potential return as Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe all the way back in 2020. It would take another two years before the studio announced “Daredevil: Born Again,” although by then Cox had already popped up as the character in a cameo in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” The actor became convinced during those two years that he’d just never get his own “Daredevil” series again.
“We stopped shooting the original show at the end of 2016, beginning of 2018 and found out it was canceled somewhere in that period,” Cox said about his original stint playing Daredevil on the Netflix series of the same name, which ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018. “And then it wasn’t until midway through 2020 that we got a phone call from Kevin saying that they were interested in bringing the characters back.

When Blade lines up a bazooka that once belonged to the Punisher in "Deadpool & Wolverine," Deadpool rightfully asks, "Which Punisher? There's been like five of them." It's certainly true that the Punisher is one of the most recast Marvel characters, from Dolph Lundgren's 1989 Punisher to the current Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal. But perhaps the most underrated Punisher is the one played by Thomas Jane in the 2004 movie, which features an unforgettable fight scene between the Punisher and the Russian, played by Kevin Nash.
Calling it a "fight scene" is generous. For the most part, it's just the Punisher getting bounced around the room (and through several walls and doors) by Nash's comically overpowered slab of pure Russian muscle. There's a moment in the fight where the Punisher stabs the Russian in the chest only for the giant to not even flinch, which actually happened for real due...

Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again series is a highly anticipated project that will most assuredly have a lot of influence on the future of MCU’s television shows. As you probably know, Daredevil and the other characters from the Marvel TV label were recently incorporated into the MCU, as the Netflix series was part of a different label, which opened up a lot of new possibilities.
The main reason for the excitement around the series, apart from the fact that everyone is thrilled to see D’Onofrio’s Kingpin back in action, is that Charlie Cox’s titular character is so beloved by the audience that many are thrilled to see him reprising the role in a standalone series. On top of that, Jon Bernthal is returning as The Punisher, and it seems that the filming was, as you might have assumed, very dynamic.

“Daredevil: Born Again” is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated upcoming MCU TV shows. Initially envisioned as a soft reboot of the original Netflix series, it has undergone a significant creative overhaul and will now function more as a continuation, given that the Defenders saga is considered canon in the MCU.
The latest update from D23 revealed the return of both Punisher and Kingpin, with whom Daredevil will have some sort of agreement. Additionally, there’s a surprising connection to “Ms. Marvel,” as Yusuf Khan makes an appearance in one of the trailer shots.
White Tiger and Muse will also make appearances, with Muse positioned as a major antagonist. The show promises to be action-packed, with Charlie Cox hinting at single-take fight sequences that could outdo the iconic hallway fight from Netflix’s “Daredevil.”

Cox masterfully portrayed Daredevil, a blind lawyer moonlighting as a vigilante, while Bernthal brought an unparalleled fierceness to Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher.

Nicolas Cage has always had a soft spot for devils and tragedies. The actor’s work has always veered far from the mainstream Hollywood recipe, often encroaching into territories that, for the lack of a better word, can only be labeled as weird. Ironically, Cage built a reputation out of his eccentricities, making his roles work out spectacularly in his favor.

Through the years, Cage has established himself as an unimpeachable figure on the fringes of Hollywood, an A-lister by the power of his dramatic work and yet ridiculous enough to be remembered more for his role in the 27% rated Ghost Rider than the 97% rated Pig. It is his work in the expansion of the comic book fantasy that makes him a living legend to this day.

In recent years, Marvel has been an oddball, as the superhero franchise has collaborated with several Japanese anime studios to showcase their heroes in a new avatar. From Moon Knight to Wolverine, the franchise has collaborated with renowned studios to make a name for themselves in the anime industry.

While Marvel has been ardently focusing on immensely expanding their anime influence, they have felt quite hesitant to showcase one superhero that has been immensely loved by fans around the world. If you have not guessed by now, it’s none other than Spider-Man.
Despite the Web-Head having a global fandom, the absence of a solo series of the character has been a topic of displeasure among the fans. As a result, fans have been complaining on social media that they want to see their favorite hero in an anime avatar.

Following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Wesley Snipes is rightfully getting some late recognition for his work in the Y2K era Blade films, but there’s another early-2000s Marvel pioneer who deserves some praise as well. Thomas Jane, who portrayed the title character in 2004’s The Punisher, was part of the same generation of early Marvel films that showed there was a massive market for superhero properties. Along with Jane’s Punisher – X-Men (2000), Elektra (2005), and yes even Ben Affleck’s Daredevil (2003) walked so the juggernaut known as the MCU could run only a few years later.
While promoting the global release of his Australian detective series, Troppo, Jane recently sat down with the Canadian constituent of Den of Geek to discuss the release of the show north of the border. Daredevil: Born Again was creatively overhauled by Marvel Studios midway through shooting, resulting in major changes behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
As a result of the shakeup. Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) were both tapped to reprise their Daredevil roles, while Ayelet Zurer will now return as Vanessa Fisk after originally being replaced by Sandrine Holt.
Oh, and Jon Bernthal is making his long-awaited return as The Punisher!
Talking at D23 this weekend, the actor revealed how it feels to have received so much love from fans. "Genuine, genuine excitement," he shared. "I think if you're a fan of the show that you saw before, you're going to be a fan of this. I think we're just taking it a step further."

Netflix's Daredevil series wasn't exactly what you'd call a bloodbath, but it was certainly darker and more violent than anything we'd seen in the MCU at that time, featuring some pretty shocking moments over the course of its three seasons.
When it was announced that Marvel Studios planned to bring The Man Without Fear back for Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again, there was some concern that the "reboot" (though we now know that it's going to be more of a continuation) might lose some of the Netflix show's edge, but one returning cast member believes Born Again will actually take the violence "much further."
"There's one thing in particular, that my character does, that I can't believe made it into the cut," Vincent D'Onofro told Rotten Tomatoes during a video interview.
As you may recall, Wilson Fisk was responsible for some of the show's more brutally violent scenes (remember...
