Felix Luther Taylor was born on 22nd May 1980 in London, England, the oldest child of Queen drummer Roger Taylor and his first wife Dominique Beyrand. He has a younger sister, doctor Rory Eleanor Taylor, and three younger half-siblings from his father relationship with Deborah Leng, drummer Rufus Taylor and models Tigerlily Taylor and Lola Leng-Taylor.
As a child, Felix inspired his father to write Queen's hit "Radio Gaga". Roger explained it many times, saying: "That came from my little boy who goes around saying 'Radio popo', in Fench [his mother is French]". Actually according to Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury, they planned to record the song as "Radio Caca" but they couldn't so changed it into "Radio Ga Ga", although sometimes they sung "Ca ca".
Felix attended at Bedales school and at Chealsea College of Art, graduating at the University of Sussex in Brighton. After that he worked briefly in the music industry, as he played drums and played with his father in the Felix & Arty band (English rock/reggae). They released their debut single "Woman You're So Beautiful" via iTunes in October 2006. He also worked in a number of other jobs before a ten-year stint in the-cut-and thrust world of advertising as account director at Wand Agency.
His debut in acting was in 2010 for a role at the BBC Radio, and also has acted in commercials, stage and TV. In 2015, starred alongside with his step-mother Sarina Taylor, Roger's second wife, in the Solitary (2015) film.
Always a keen reader and a lover of jokes and stories, he has tried his hand at stand-up and both written for and participated in live sketch shows such as News revue. As the son of a French mother and English father, he is one of the very few who appreciate the merits of both Marmite and the mysterious andouillette of Eastern and Northern France. In July 2016 his first novel 'Serve Cold' was published.
