Gustavo Fontele Dourado is one of the founders of Fontele Studios, a brazilian multimedia company which produces movies, TV shows, books, comics and games. He has a degree in Film and Digital Media from IESB (Brasília) and in Game Production from Saga/Axis (São Paulo). He has worked as an executive producer on several audiovisual, publishing and cultural projects. Some highlights are the animated web series Swallows (Tree House Studios), the series and feature Antena da Raça (Paloma Rocha, Cannes Classics, Ancine), the feature The recycling cycles (Cine Tekton, Meka Audiovisual, Pierre Verger Award), the animated web series and short Hacker Leonilia (GFD Studios, FAC-DF, a project whose director is Gustavo) and the short Letters from Brasília (Larissa Leite, It's All True, assistant director). He received the DOT Cine Award with the animated series Nina's Travels (Madá, Creative Group) at Icumam Lab and has been selected for events such as DOC SP (feature Iolanda was Murdered), RIO2C (Alien Spy game), CCXP (comics at Artists' Valley). Inside the publishing field, the comic Rites of passage: when we were brothers which he produced was among the 5 nominees for the 2021 Jabuti Award and received the International Manga Award (Japan). Gustavo also worked on books by the publisher Confraria do Vento (Rio de Janeiro). In 2023, he will attend the Marché du Film and the 93rd Lisbon Book Fair. He obtained around 60 cultural projects through public funding contests.
