Calista Bess

Calista was born in California and started pretending that she was winning acting awards when she was just 3 years old. She would give her "thank you" speeches using the decorative candles on the coffee table. Her father works in entertainment and did not want an acting career for his daughter having worked with many child actors. Her mother was very nervous about the criticism and rejection that many actors face and was not sure her young daughter could handle the pressure.
Eventually they let her pursue her dream and Calista handles the pressure and judgment like a champ. Calista is persistent and has landed roles with DreamWorks TV and "London and The Muse" which was lauded at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
Calista loves acting and is equally passionate about writing and film in general. She is a film critic for Kids First Media and says that she "breathes film and TV."
