David has been working on a series of short documentaries through
2013/14 including The Horologist, The Glassblower, The Butcher and The
Blacksmith, to be expended into a larger series. He has also produced
the short experimental documentary Phantom Pain in 2013, while crewing
on other shorts, promos and music videos.
David draws influence from the films of Werner Herzog, Harmony Korine, Vincente Minnelli, Andrei Tarkovsky, Ingmar Bergman, Mario Bava and Jacques Tati because of their limitless creativity and unique and singular vision, which elevates and transcends the medium.
David aspires to direct, edit and produce documentaries and feature films of all genres; starting with producing and directing an MGM style short musical in 2014.
