Robin Piree is a film director & editor, always striving to push past the limits and boundaries set by the current film industry. Working for some of the world's best known electronic artists, his energetic and rhythmic edits take you on a visual journey.
Starting out by making skateboard videos and music promos in his hometown of Breda, The Netherlands, Robin continued to hone his skills as a cameraman and editor for Charly Friedrichs a.k.a. Final Kid on projects like "Can U Feel It - The UMF Experience", which was shown exclusively in 500 selected theatres across the USA. Other projects included music videos for Fedde Le Grand and other electronic artists like Nicky Romero and Mark Knight.
Besides handling the camera and working as an editor, Robin developed his directing skills by realizing one of the first online documentary series about one of the biggest and most popular party resorts in Europe, Starbeach.
In 2013 he produced, directed and edited his first feature length documentary "I Am Hardwell - If You Can Dream It You Can Do It", a film about a boy's dream to someday become the number one DJ of the world. The movie reached cult status in the electronic dance music world and once officially released on iTunes, it went straight to number 1 in the worldwide documentary section. Later the film was broadcasted in countries all over the world.
Focusing more on fiction based videoclips, Robin continued his rise by working on several music videos for Hardwell in 2015. At age 25 his second feature length film "I Am Hardwell - Living the Dream" was premiered in the fall of 2015 in the Tuschinksi Theatre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands' oldest and most leading movie theatre.
Robin's projects have reached over 100 million views on the internet and have been shown in some of the world's best known movie theatres like the TCL Chinese Theatres in Los Angeles.
