Jyoti Madnani Singh is a costume designer, fashion stylist, and an award winning short film-maker. Born in, 'cultural capital of India', Rajasthan; fashion, colours, costume and styling always excited her. After finishing her senior secondary level education in her birth place Kota, Jyoti joined NIFT (National Institute Of Fashion Technology) Mumbai in 2005. After passing out from NIFT in 2009, she designed and styled costumes for feature films, advertising films, and theatre. Jyoti, popularly knows as JMS, was nominated for IIFA awards in the costume design category for the year 2016. She was also awarded "Kota Ratn" in the year 2017 for her work in the field of fashion and costume design. "I am not down", her debut film as director has fetched her worldwide acclaim and several national and international awards.
