The Bad Sisters have another murder mystery on their hands in Season 2 of the Apple TV+ dark comedy series.
Created by Sharon Horgan and based on Malin-Sarah Gozin’s 2012 series Clan, the murder mystery show returned for another installment following the death of John Paul Williams (Claes Bang), aka “The Prick” at the hands of Grace Garvey (Anne-Marie Duff) while her four sisters had been conspiring to kill him well before it actually went down.
Newcomers to Season 2 include Fiona Shaw, Thaddea Graham and Owen McDonnell and more. Several needle drops mark suspenseful and funny moments in the series, especially in episode 2.

If the beginning of Bad Sisters episode 3, doesn’t have you crying, then you, my friend, have a heart of stone. It seems our fears have come true because Grace has in fact passed. In this episode, the show explores Grace’s relationship with Roger’s sister Angelica and also Ursula’s guilt over giving Grace some pills. An old character returns to the scene, but why? We don’t really know yet. Also, I just want to add that this episode is peak TV comedy, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the dark humor used to ease the pain of Grace’s death. With that said, I won’t turn this into a puff piece about how brilliant all the actresses are so let’s jump straight into everything that went down in season 2, episode 3 of Bad Sisters.
Spoiler Alert
How Does Angelica Get Money From Ursula?

Not everything needs a second season.
“Bad Sisters,” created by Sharon Horgan, Brett Baer, and Dave Finkel, and based on the Belgian series “Clan,” was one such series, neatly wrapping up the eponymous Garvey sisters’ story with ten episodes that premiered on Apple TV+ in 2022.
But of those many shows that should have left well enough alone, a rare few manage to pull off that second installment (if not more beyond that) with — if not resounding success, then aplomb. “Bad Sisters” didn’t need a second season, but Horgan and her team execute the near-impossible task of picking up, building out, and smartly continuing the story, even if Season 1 remains superior.
Season 2 catches up with the sisters — Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Eva (Horgan), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Becka (Eve Hewson) — a few years after the other four planned to kill Grace’s husband, only for her to end up killing him herself.

In hindsight, it figures that Bad Sisters’ Roger couldn’t possibly bear up under the weight of such a massive secret.
So when the Apple TV+ series returns for Season 2 (the first two episodes dropped today; this recap covers Episode 1), Grace really shouldn’t be all that surprised that her neighbor/admirer is having second thoughts about being an accessor to her former husband’s murder.

I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 of Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters… and at the same time, I didn’t see any need for it to continue with a Season 2.
The pitch-black comedy, centered around a tight-knit group of Irish sisters who all come under suspicion when one sister’s jerk of a husband ends up dead, was a morbid delight in its freshman run, powered by terrific performances and a bracing dose of gallows humor. But the story tied up so neatly in the end that a second season seemed unnecessary. Well, we’re getting one anyway — the first two episodes...

Another season of Bad Sisters from creator Sharon Horgan, based on Malin-Sarah Gozin’s 2012 Belgian television series Clan, is underway on Apple TV+ with all five Garvey sisters returning alongside newcomers Fiona Shaw and Thaddea Graham.
Following the wild pattern of events that unfolded in the first season, a murder mystery still haunts Eva (Horgan), Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene) and Becka (Eve Hewson) Garvey. The suspense and — at times — silliness as well as sisterhood continues with the first two episodes arriving Nov. 13 followed by one per week through December 23.

After the deadly acts of season one, Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters returns for its second season as the central siblings face increasing suspicion and fear about what they did.
In the trailer released Tuesday, the women are first seen atop a cliff and opening the trunk of a car as showrunner and star Sharon Horgan’s Eva assures them that everything’s going to be Ok. But then, in a microcosm of the concerns sprinkled throughout the second season preview, the women are startled by something they see inside the trunk.
The trailer jumps ahead to Grace (Anne-Marie Duff) getting remarried to a man named Ian (Owen McDonnell) as Eva again tries to offer reassurance, saying, “After everything that happened, things are finally looking up.”
But as Grace dances with Roger (Michael Smiley), who helped her kill her abusive husband J.P. (Claes Bang), he asks if she ever...

The Garvey sisters are back – and dealing with another body – two years after viewers last saw them on screen.
In the first trailer for Season 2, which is set two years after the events of Season 1, Eva (Sharon Horgan), Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene) and Becka (Eve Hewson) are apparently trying to move on with their lives, with troubled Grace getting a second chance at love.
But the past – including Grace’s dead husband Jp (Claes Bang) – seems determined to haunt them while the present throws up another corpse.

It’s been two years since Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters broke bad… but they haven’t gotten away with it yet.
The streamer has released a trailer for Season 2 of the pitch-black comedy (premiering Wednesday, Nov. 13), with the Garvey sisters picking up the pieces after the “accidental death” of Grace’s jerk of a husband John Paul. Grace has moved on… and is even getting married to a new bloke named Ian, played by Owen McDonnell. They’re not mourning the loss of John Paul, either: “The world is better off without him,” Ursula insists. “Even the Pope would say that.

Could the Garvey sisters just catch a break in Bad Sisters season 2? Though it seems like they've been living a blissful life for the past two years following John Paul's death, it looks like the incident is going to come back to haunt them in the second season. Though before that, there is still some more happiness in store!
Guess who's getting married? That would be Grace! Apple TV+ has shared some first-look images from season 2, which premieres Wednesday, Nov. 13. And in multiple of them, we see Grace looking as beautiful as ever in a white dress and a huge smile on her face. After everything she's gone through, she definitely deserves to be happy. And hopefully this time, she's found a true gentleman.

The Garvey sisters are making their way back to our screens this fall, and I absolutely can't wait! I'm so excited for Bad Sisters season 2. There's some shows that honestly don't feel like they need a second season. And with the way season 1 ended, it could have worked where the story could have ended there. But, clearly there's more to tell. And when it comes to this show, I don't mind another installment at all.
Bad Sisters season 2 premieres Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 with the first two episodes on Apple TV+. These will be followed by one new episode released weekly until the finale streaming on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2024. What a true gift! There's a total of 8 episodes this season, two less than season 1. So what is Bad Sisters season 2 about? We shared the official synopsis from Apple TV+ below:

“The Outrun,” the adaptation of Amy Liptrot’s deeply raw and lyrical 2016 memoir about addiction, recovery and nature, premiered in Sundance this year to stellar reviews, with many awards prophets already suggesting that the film could take Saoirse Ronan — who stars in and produces the film — back to the Oscars in 2025.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from the fourth and final season of “Sex Education.”
When “Sex Education” premiered in 2019, it followed a timid teenager with progressive ideals, trying to lead the student body of his repressive high school to sexual liberation. By 2023, when Netflix released the fourth and final season, all of that had changed.
Moordale Secondary School shuts down at the end of Season 3, so Season 4 takes place in a whole new world. Most of our characters end up at Cavendish College, which is Moordale’s complete opposite. It’s paradise for Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), who instantly fits in with the popular crowd. He’s surrounded by other queer people for the first time,...
