Amelia Croft is a Canadian actress, singer, and screenwriter. She is currently studying Voice at Camosun College (Victoria Conservatory of Music) with Colin Doruschuk (Men Without Hats) . Her emphasis is both Jazz and Classical, and she has a coloratura range. She is the daughter of multiple award-winning screenwriter Gillian Croft, and second cousin to Peter Barron (BBC, Channel 4, and retired Communications Director for Google) and Liz Barron (who brought Teletubbies to North America). Amelia excels at complicated characters, and her recent film Empty Spaces, where she played troubled teen Aiden in a family riddled with secrets and alcoholism, has gone on to win numerous awards and recognition at festivals worldwide.

Amelia began acting professionally at age 7 when she was immediately signed by an agent. Despite living on an island, Amelia commuted twelve hours every weekend for a year and a half to the mainland so that she could pursue training. In the years since, Amelia has worked in theatre, film, and television. She has also done modeling, radio interviews, and sings professionally. Amelia is in pre-production on The Distance Between Us, a short film that she wrote herself and which has been optioned by a producer.

Amelia feels very strongly that we all have a responsibility to bring hope and joy to those around us. She hopes that her fans would please help support the Make a Wish Foundation, Give Kids the World, and the David Foster Foundation. She believes strongly that people should stand up for the rights of those who have no voice of their own, especially those with Disabilities. She is very close to her sister who has a severe disability and who is also very musical.
