Ice Beer Milk has released four trailers for an indie romantic comedy film called simply Body Swap, which is now available to viw on VOD everywhere. The film was already released but these trailers have been cut to try and get some more attention around Valentine's Day. Each trailer is made to feel like it's from a different era: the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and a "Modern" trailer. Body Swap is a kooky romcom that involves a body swap between a high strung business woman and a laid-back slacker. Once the two swap, Casey must contend with Cj's frenemy Lisa, while she has to woo an Italian girl that Casey's been flirting with, as they both learn about love. Sounds like fun, no? On a weekend trip, a group of friends are forced to seek shelter inside an abandoned prison where a nun named Sister Monday had once been assigned. During her time at the prison, Sister Monday was suspected of killing prisoners who were serving out their sentences but before she could be questioned, she disappeared. Once inside the prison, they will learn the terrifying truth.

Opening in a palette of creepy-cool midnight blue, Ashley-Kae (Erika Edwards) retells her nighttime childhood entailing her fear of the terrifying Sister Monday (Felissa Rose) hidden under the bed, in her closet, and in her head. In the present day, however, she leads a group consisting of her sister, her sister’s boyfriend, and a classmate. At first, in Ashley being a keen photographer, the group take a stop on their travels (much to the dismay of the sister and her boyfriend), so that Ashley is able to capture a few shots for her thesis, but that isn’t her only desire. Another scary horror short to watch to keep the thrills going beyond just the month of October. Monitor is a horror short film made by Matt Black & Ryan Polly, of a Texas-based filmmaking cooperative called Maker Table. Similar to, but different, than the other horror short Monitor (about a baby monitor), this one is about a sleep-deprived corner store clerk who wonders if he's seeing things when a man appears on his security camera monitors. Starring Gunner Willis, Jacob Daniels, and Tyler Burditt. This really is a much scarier version of the monitor concept, with the mysteriousness playing perfectly with the horror.
