Jens Engels

Jens Engels was born on July 28, 1990 in Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium, eldest of two; son of Karin Schwithal and Peter Engels Portrait Artist and Marketeer. As a child Jens grew up in Brasschaat with his family where he attended high school; later on graduated college first at Tko Mechelen as a Graphic Designer and Beeckestijn Business School where he graduated as a Digital Marketing & Social Media specialist. After graduation he got the opportunity to work for the luggage company "Delsey" in Paris, where he realized that this "Corporate life" was actually not for him. Jens decided to try Acting, something he always really wanted to do. Three months later he enrolled at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles for a 4-week intensive course, fell in love with the craft and soon extended enrollment to the 8-week intensive course.

For Jens, his great realization about becoming a working actor came when he worked for Disney's live action music video "In Summer" from the hit movie "Frozen". Being on set for Disney helped him decide this is what he always wanted to do. He enrolled for the Associates of Fine Art program at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, Where he graduated.

Jens also added Business Skills and Career Development with A.J. Riley and Worked with Christina Zorich as his acting coach.
