Michael Nakan founded London based Envision Entertainment in 2021; he is an executive producer, creator and entrepreneur specialising in premium global content. In 2022 he co-created and produced the successful crime drama "Connected: The Homebound Detective" with Japan's Nippon TV; the format has now been optioned by Tomorrow Studies for the US market.
Michael was formerly Creative Executive at Joe Wright's Shoebox Films. Prior to that, he lived in the US and worked at 20th Century Fox, ICM Partners and Scott Rudin Productions, before working for showrunner Beau Willimon on "House of Cards". He then worked in marketing at HBO on shows like "Game of Thrones", "True Detective" and "Veep".
Michael is a member of the Writer's Guild of Great Britain, a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and is a UK Department of International Trade 'Export Champion'. He graduated with honors in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University.
Prior to setting up Envision, Michael co-founded Clipper Media.
