Kal Bernhardt

Kal Bernhardt was born in South San Francisco. He grew up on the SF Bay Peninsula until seven years old, then in San Jose, CA from then on. Kal first began projects in front of a video camera at age 16 with his friend Mike Videll as his first director. Kal was recruited into the San Jose State University drama department by accident one day when a stage director noticed him standing around and told him to get on the stage. Kal ended up staying for two years working in multiple plays. Over the years, Kal has continued to participate as an entertainer in corporate videos, radio shows, rock bands, commercials, film and other projects.

Kal had always wanted to become an actor, but family and societal pressures lead him to believe it was not a realistic profession. As a result, he did not take his acting career seriously until 2007.
