Not every villain featured on Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a Big Bad, and there was no shortage of memorable demonic creatures and evil spirits for Buffy to face throughout the series seven seasons. Still, not every foe was fearsome, and some appeared ridiculously weak to the point that viewers had to wonder how they managed to survive on the Hellmouth as long as they did.

From Moloch the internet villain to Bezoar's evil eggs, it's truly a mystery why Buffy and the Scoobies saw these antagonists as anything but defenseless. There is no doubt that fans of the series will remember these truly unimpressive and easily conquerable villains from BtVS.

The Swedish series created by Amir Chamdin and Fares Fares, based upon an idea by Mauricio Molinari, won the 3rd edition of the festival’s competition, with Moloch and Red Light also claiming trophies. The 3rd edition of Cannes International Series Festival - Canneseries has awarded its principal prize to the Swedish production Partisan. Created by Amir Chamdin and Fares Fares (who also leads the cast) based upon an original idea by Mauricio Molinari, the series which also stars Johan Rheborg, Sofia Karemyr and Anna Björk recounts the misadventures of Johnny as he enters Jordnära, an idyllic gated community that runs a very successful organic farm, as their new truck driver. He gets to know Nicole and Maria, two foster children who are spending the summer there. He soon starts to suspect trafficking. The more Johnny's concern for the girls grows, the more focus they take from his main mission.

Dominated by the charisma of Swedish-Lebanese lead Fares Fares, a “Westworld” co-star, “Partisan,” a Warner Bros.- production for Scandinavia’s Nordic Entertainment Group (Nent) walked off Wednesday evening with best series at the 3rd Canneseries TV festival.
Due to play on Nent’s SVOD service Viaplay, the slow burning and unsettling Nordic Noir sees Fares Fares’ character, Johnny, accept a job at an closed gate organic food farm which is some kind of front for far more sinister activities.
Co-created by Amir Chandin and Fares and sold by Federation Entertainment, “Partisan” was part of a 10-title Canneseries competition which painted this year a fairly disturbing portrait of contemporary world.
“Although all the shows at Canneseries were made before Covid-19, they are still often very dark and often treat weighty social issues,” Albin Levi, Canneseries artistic director, told Variety.

Corellian Foot Chase is the name of the first deleted scene to be released from Solo, and it features Han and Qi'ra running away from Lady Proxima's henchman, Moloch, and his Corellian hounds. While Solo didn't make as much money as Lucasfilm and Disney were hoping it would at the box office, the upcoming Blu-ray release could go a long way in making any money back that was lost during the promotional campaign for the film. After all, The Last Jedi is currently the number one selling Blu-ray release of 2018.
The deleted scene from Solo features Alden Ehrenreich's young Han Solo and Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra as they run from Moloch and his hounds. While they're running, Qi'ra finds a steel barrel filled with long, eel-like water creatures, which Han is reluctant to jump into. It's at that point in which the scene seems like a tip of the hat to Indiana Jones,...

Thanks to some Topps trading cards, we now have a brand new peek at the leading duo of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
We are, of course, referring to Han and Chewbacca, otherwise known as the galaxy’s greatest double act. But considering the Ron Howard-directed spinoff takes place long before A New Hope – and before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, too – Solo is all set to deep dive into the early days of Han and Chewie’s friendship, as they begin to mosey their way through the galaxy’s criminal underworld.
It’s a dark and seedy universe of untold riches and high-flying gangsters, of heroes and villains, and in the gallery of Topps trading cards below, you’ll be able to catch that new look at Han and Chewie along with many of the film’s other main players, both of the good and bad variety.

Today we finally found out where the Empire assigns the Stormtroopers deemed too incompetent to staff the various Death Stars, Star Destroyers and Imperial bases. Meet the Mudtrooper – the job that I’m guessing no self-respecting trooper ever wants to be signed up to.
This guy, dressed in what looks like mismatched hand-me-downs and caked in filth, is one of many new additions to the Star Wars universe, as revealed in these Solo: A Star Wars Story Topps Cards (seen in the gallery down below). We also get a good look here at Thandie Newton’s Val, Moloch, Argus “Six Eyes” Panos, Qi’Ra, Lando, a Range Trooper, Chewie and Han himself.
Finally, there’s also a character that might just beat out Kit Fisto as my favourite name in Star Wars: Therm Scissorpunch! Presumably the shining light of the Scissorpunch dynasty, Therm appears to be some Dr. Zoidberg-alike lobster...

Additionally, there's also some Easter Eggs for hardcore Star Wars fans to hunt for.

Denny's is teaming up with Lucasfilm for a Solo: A Star Wars Story cross-promotion campaign. They released a promo spot that features kid versions of Han Solo and Lando Calrissian playing a game of sabacc in the deep underworld of the Star Wars universe. The promo also features Chewbacca and is filled all kinds of strange new alien characters.
There is a movie-inspired menu and trading card packs that can be purchased as well. Those trading cards, which I included below the promo video, introduce some new characters who will be in the film. They include a character with the hilariously awesome name of Therm Scissorpunch! Proceeds from the trading card packs will benefit the charity, No Kid Hungry.
It looks like this was a fun cross-promotional opportunity for everyone involved. The video came with the following description:

Even though interest was low leading into December, The Last Jedi is finally out of the way and now everyone wants to talk about the Han Solo movie. The standalone Star Wars adventure is less than six months away from release. Disney and Lucasfilm still don't want to show us anything yet. So we've had to rely on a couple of leaks to get our first look. A poster surfaced on social media that looked too good to be fake. Disney denied it was from them, but now we know otherwise. That same art showed up on leaked Lego sets that will hit stores this summer. While we learned quite a bit about the movie from those sets, a better look gives us previously unknown character names and confirms some of the new planets.
