Lissy Cohn

Originally from Long Island, Lissy Cohn is the creative middle child of two New York Lawyers. Lissy started acting when she was eleven years old, and at sixteen years old her most exciting performance was as Anne Frank. At fifteen, Lissy discovered that she was a singer-songwriter and has been performing live at coffeehouses and open-mics throughout New York, Florida, and Los Angeles. A graduate of New York City's American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and ACTeen, Lissy took her act on the road and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress and musician. Once here, she fell in love with the art of Improvisation and has since completed classes at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), iO West, and is currently attending The Groundlings. Lissy recently performed in the show "Honor Roll" on the iO West Main Stage, as well as with her comedy troupe "Cerebro" on the DCT Stage. She is now working on recording her first album. Since studying with Celebrity Coach Amy Lyndon, CEO of The Lyndon Technique, Lissy is ready to take on the world.
