Julieta Ruiseco is a Mexican Jazz Singer and Actress, She started her studies
as a Classical Opera Singer , when in high school Mtro.
Maria Eugenia Sutti introduced her to the operatic singing technique; however since the beginning of her music career she has had a natural curiosity towards other music genres, ability that lead her to contemporary music and jazz. Her music taste has extended as her career has developed. Being a vocal coach and studio singer for plenty of projects at Sony BMG Studios has helped her to incorporate various techniques and to understand music and her instrument as a whole.
She has been coached by awarded Mtro. Ma. Eugenia Sutti and at the Fine Arts Institute by Mtro. Maritza Alemán. In 2012 Ruiseco moved to Vancouver, Canada to study Jazz and Composition with Kate Hammett-Vaughan and Stephen Bulat. During those days she started composing her first songs and playing them live at CapU and The Cellar Jazz Club.
Canada opened Julieta's opportunities as she tried for several artist careers, that's when she received the opportunity to participate as a support actress in Maria's Episode (2013) A Serbian/Canadian Film that is proudly now presenting at the Montreal World Film Festival.
As for now, Julieta Ruiseco moved back to Mexico to finish the final details for her first solo Album "Songs of Jolie" with the help of awarded Mexican pianist Alex Mercado
