Melanie Dastmalchi is a Danish-Iranian film producer, raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. A graduate of the independent Super16 film school, she has worked on a number of well-received productions, including Bjergets Tårer (2022), Afskærmet (2022), Grand Tour Violence (2021), Holy Spider (2022), Historien om Danmark (2017), and Almost Human (2019).
In 2017, Melanie was awarded the "Melanie of the Year" prize at the Ekko Shortlist Awards, a special honor recognizing her dedication to the Danish film industry and her contributions to several nominated film productions.
