Director Aloysius Ballard fell in love with movies at the age of five when he watched Superman on the big screen, and he has been studying films ever since. At the age of 17, Ballard undertook his first film contest, but perhaps unsurprisingly, it never placed. Growing up, he continued making countless films in his spare time. Ultimately, Ballard went on to study at Full Sail University's Film School, culminating with his graduation project Alright, a music video that played on media outlets around the world. After film school, he began work on his first feature, co-writing and directing the indie drama, Antithesis. The finished film debuted in late 2014 at the 48hr. Film Festival in Jackson,MS. Following a successful festival run, the film was put back into production to be extended. Ballard has recently worked with major brands such as Parkwood Entertainment owned by Beyonce Knowles, Releve'Entertainment (Dr. Holly Carter), eOne Entertainment (Nashville), Sony Music, and more.
